Special Announcement and catching up News

Nothing comes before announceing the birth of our new and so very precious Grandson, Jayden Wayne Osborne, born October 20th 2009.

What a special blessing he is. Justin and Alyssa are so thrilled to have a new baby brother, and our son Justin is a very proud Dad. JamieLee, we love you, and your also a special gift to this family. Always know that. (Hugs)
Now this household has had a little black cloud over it for over a month and a half. We have not spent much time enjoying Jayden as we have had a housefull of the H1N1 virus. Wayne..myself..and Justin and Alyssa..and with my physical situation I had just started to get over the first round of flu I had gotten when the whole family came down with the H1N1.
We are just beginning to feel some energy, but I have not allowed the kids back to school yet. From all I am hearing from the schools, we are not alone. So that is enough catching up for today.
Hopefully on the road to health..

Beyond the Moon ~ is where I would like to be ~

Oh I am in complete whine mode at this moment. I have not been this sick in a very long time. The flu hit me so quick, so fast, I was fine one minute and throwing up the next. (Details I am sure you could do without..right?) Anyway, I have spent the majority of my time in bed the last few days, and still don't feel I am over it. I am sure I have a sign on me these days that says, If your sick? Can I have it too? I swear if there is someone sick out there, they find me like a magnet. The kids and hubby so far are doing OK, and don't seem to be getting it. I could possibly be sorry I said that now. MMMMMMM
Well, today after most of it was spent in bed, (bathroom)..I did a layout for the CAF_E Challenge with Nicole Young. Pictures are Doodle and her Aunt (my daughter) taken on a Sunday walk last week at the Pier. It was a fun and beautiful day, and enjoyed by each one of us.

The kit used is Beyond the Moon and Beyond the Moon blog Freebie.
Hope your having a better day then I am,
LynO
Back, with a quick post of the layout I have done for the September_09 Sketch Challenge at Digital Scrapbook Place. I used again the Beyond the Moon kit created by Nicole Young.

Still sick..enough said.

Forever In Never Never

I spent a bit of time with my daughter today, just the two of us and it was so nice. No one but us, talking and just enjoying each others company. Today was a wonderful day.
Anyway, I have been doing some playing with a new kit by Nicole Young called Forever in Never Never and wanted to show you what I did. Yep, our Buddy is the young man in the image. He informs me now he is a "Tween". LOL. New word to me, but important one for him. He is a very special young man and one I am proud of.

Grab Bags Grab Bags Everywhere!! WOW

Well DSO is having a Grab Bag Special, and many of the Designers are taking part. From September 4th-11th. You really need to get over there and take a look. And of course Ms. LouCee of LouCee's Creations has her own AMAZING Grab Bag and for only 3$. Trust me, you are getting alot of wonderful scrapbooking items for only 3$.
I have done a few layouts with some of the wonderful goodies in LouCee's Grab Bag.
So if you like what you see take a walk on over to LouCee Creations Store and LouCee's Blog.

Is this not a CUTE face? LOL

Gotta quickly tell ya, the bottom corner of this layout, take a look at her face, LOL and her wish picture in front of her cake. She wanted high heels sooo bad...well at 5 ...high heels to Grama here was not an option (she didn't want play high heels..she wanted ones she could wear going out)...but I found these very clunky heels ...on a clearance rack (I believe Walmart) for 5 bucks..well bought them more for the fun of her having heels...and with all the toys and presents she got..I think those silly heels made her smile the most...LOL. Always goes to show..the little things mean the most.

And of course, our family summers are spent in or around water. This was taken two summers ago at Port Dover.
Hope your having a most Wonderful! Day.
